There will be a flight available three times per week. These routes are in addition to the existing Barcelona and Madrid routes. But that is merely the start of what will be a busy year for the Turkish flag carrier. Turkish Airlines will add quite a number of destinations to their already impressive list throughout 2011. Destinations such as Paris, Lyon, Toulouse and Nice in France are also on the list, planned for the summer of 2011. Thus, the company will be flying to 175 international destinations and the year is still at the beginning. Turkey’s most popular airlines experienced a very active month during October of 2010. Actually, Turkish Airlines is not hiding that it plans to get into the competitive US and Asian markets. They have long term goals to quickly grow all over the world. Turkish Airlines has created a new style of travel called Comfort Class. This class of travel is available on the Boeing 777 planes the company owns. With seats that are just under 46 inches, this makes it a completely new approach to flying in style. So that is nearly four feet of seat available for yourself and anything else you care to have with you on your seat. It is important to note that Boeing 777 airplanes are large aircraft and are suited to long flights. Miles earned in the Turkish Airlines Miles and Smiles card can be redeemed for a ticket in Comfort Class or an upgrade to this class. Both US coasts appear to be serviced by Turkish Airlines. That offers new possibilities for travel and easily makes new destinations available. Turkish Airlines has routes to Washington DC and Los Angeles, both important international travel centers, with a number of flights scheduled every week to and from these airports.
